Baykar and Leonardo are opening a new chapter in unmanned technologies. LBA Systems, a 50:50 joint venture headquartered in Italy, will focus on all processes ranging from the design, development and production to the maintenance of unmanned aerial systems. LBA Systems aims to play a key role in the sector by combining the industrial expertise and synergies of the two companies.

Roketsan, Türkiye`s leading rocket, missile, and ammunition technologies company, has signed a contract with Sefine Shipyard for the integration of the ATMACA Weapon System on two naval platforms for the Indonesian Ministry of Defense. The signing ceremony, which strengthens defense industry cooperation between Türkiye and Indonesia, took place at the Indo Defence exhibition in Jakarta.

Airbus has been awarded a contract from the German procurement agency Bundesamt für Ausrüstung, Informationstechnik und Nutzung der Bundeswehr (BAAINBw) to equip 23 Luftwaffe A400Ms with DIRCM protection systems. DIRCM stands for ‘Directed Infrared Counter Measures’ and will protect the military transport aircraft from missiles with infrared seekers. Under the contract just signed, the company will also provide services including training, service bulletins and tools.
