The said forum took place with the cooperation of Airbus and Dassault Systèmes (DS) on 9 June 2010 at the Sheraton Ankara Hotel. Aside from Delmia EMEA Vice President Mr. Yves Coze, Dassault Systèmes Aerospace Industry Solution Director Eric Giroir, Dassault Systèmes Turkey Sales Director Burak Süsoy and Dassault Systèmes Turkey Corporate Sales Director Süleyman Müftüo?lu, representatives of the Turkish defence industry and many high level foreign officials as experts in the Dassault Systèmes’ space and aeronautics areas participated.
In the forum that took place, Dassault Systèmes’ strategies in the space, aeronautics and defence areas were provided. Cooperating with global defence and aerospace through the world, it was emphasized that Dassault Systèmes cooperated with TAI, Havelsan, Roketsan, BMC, FNSS, Otokar, MKE, Mikes, Yaltes, Tübitak Uzay, Alp Havac?l?k, Ayd?n Yaz?l?m, Nurol, Kale, Co?kunöz, Selex and Küçükpazarl? companies in Turkey as a solution partner.
Later the participants had the opportunity to follow a demo of the V6 solution.
After the presentations, Airbus representative Mr. Jean Luc Jarrige shared the details in the successful cooperation with Dassault Systèmes. Stating that Airbus in the development of the A350 XWB Program preferred the 3D new design and production solution of Dassault Systèmes (DS) , the A350 XWB airplane program, as a new generation airplane, is parallel to the changing requirements of the market and concentrates on dimension, area, passenger comfort and environmental friendly aspects. In addition, Dassault Systèmes’ PLM will provide Airbus with lower emissions, lower noise level and fuel efficiency.
At the end of the forum, the participants were provided with information on topics such as how a new strategy can be prepared to creating the most complicated products on earth and ways to be more productive in activities after the completion of the value chain and discovered how Dassault Systèmes’s integrated PLM solutions can reach faster the innovations led by the marketplace.
Dassault Systèmes Turkey Sales Director Burak Süsoy thanked the managers participating in the forum and noted that it had provided important opportunities in the exchange of information from its Dassault Systèmes experts in the space, aeronautics and defence areas. Drawing attention to the fact that reducing the design and production process in today’s space, aeronautics and defence industry has gained importance, Süsoy said, “Lowering costs and effective management of products that are becoming more and more complex by companies is becoming highly important.
