Havelsan announced the agreement signed with the Qatar Emirates Air Forces in December 2012 to the press and public opinion with a ceremony held at IDEF 2013. Undersecretary for Defence Industries Mr.Murad BAYAR, Qatar Emirates Head of the Plan and Principles of the Joint Chief of Staff Major Thani Al Kuwari and General Manager of Havelsan Sadık Yamaç attended the ceremony. The Simulator Training Center for the AW139 helicopter is to be delivered as a turnkey Project to the Qatar Emirates Air Forces by Havelsan within the scope of the agreement. When the project is accomplished this shall be the greatest Simulator Training Center for the AW139 Helicopter within the Middle East and North Africa region.
