Roketsan Presents its Advanced Technology Defence Systems in Qatar

The doors have opened on the eighth Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2024). Roketsan has come to DIMDEX to present its advanced technology defence systems to the thousands of visitors to the three-day event.

Held under the patronage of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar and organised by the Qatar Armed Forces, DIMDEX 2024 has opened its doors to exhibitors and visitors from all over the world for the event, which runs from 4–6 March at the Qatar National Convention Centre. Roketsan is showcasing some of its most popular products during the event, including its maritime, land and air systems.

Commenting on their participation at DIMDEX, one of the leading defence industry gatherings in the Gulf region, Murat İkinci, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Roketsan, said, “The high-level strategic relations between Turkey and Qatar contribute significantly to our defence industry exports. As Roketsan, we are happy to see our exports contributing to the strengthening of the bilateral relations between our countries, which in turn contribute to the success of Roketsan. Roketsan is here with an outstanding selection of advanced technology defence systems that it is keen to present to the numerous military delegations, committees and officials who will visit its stand. The products showcased by Roketsan in Qatar include the Mini Smart Munitions MAM-C, MAM-L and MAM-T, the CIRIT Laser Guided Missile, the KARAOK Short-Range Anti-Tank Weapon, the Medium-Range Anti-Tank Weapon System OMTAS, the Laser-Guided Long-Range Anti-Tank Missile System L-UMTAS, the Cruise Missile ÇAKIR, the SUNGUR Air Defence Missile System, the Close Air-Defence System LEVENT, the National Vertical Launcher System (MIDLAS) and the Tactical Missile Launch System KMC.
