Turk Telekom and Aselsan announced their collaboration on “Computerized 112 Emergency Aid Dispatch and Management System” infrastructure establishment, conducted by The Ministry of Interior and General Directorate of Governorships. The joint consortium will also take part in the “Public Safety Radio Communication System” project conducted by Ministry of Transportation General Directorate of Communication, as solution providers, including public tenders.
The two collateral projects will combine all emergency call services, such as 112, 110, 155 and 156, under one call center; 112 Emergency. Enabling public safety institutions to use a common digital radio system, they will be able to collaborate and act in coordination, serving the public efficiently and rapidly. The realization of the projects will help public safety staff to reach information via the digital radio system and mobile crews will be monitored by the headquarters, to direct the nearest crew for intervention. The system aims fast, accurate and efficient reaction to emergency situations.
