TURKISH AEROSPACE WINS ONE SILVER AND TWO BRONZE STEVIE® AWARD WITH TWO PROJECTS IN 2020 INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AWARDS®

Turkish Aerospace won 3 awards with 2 projects. Company was named the winner of a  Silver Stevie® Award in the Communications or PR Campaign of the Year, in Internal Communications segment and Bronze Stevie®Award in the Communications or PR Campaign of the Year, in Community Engagement segment at Young Woman Empowerment Mentoring Program and the winner of a  Bronze Stevie® Award in the    Communications or PR Campaign of the Year category in Community Engagement segment at Kid Inventor’s Day Celebration Filled with Science in The 17th Annual International Business Awards® today.

The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. All individuals and organizations worldwide – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small - are eligible to submit nominations. The 2020 IBAs received entries from organizations in 63 nations and territories.

As the ongoing COVID-19 crisis will prevent winners from receiving their awards on stage during a traditional gala IBA banquet, winners will be celebrated instead during a virtual ceremony on Tuesday, 1 December.

Having considered as Internal Communication and Employer Branding activity, the programme on Young Woman Empowerment Mentoring was designed with 20 mentors who works at Turkish Aerospace and brought 20 young university women student for empowering and remarking women employment in defense industry. The programme was commented from many judges but some of them was very attractive as following: “A great campaign to promote gender equality; A very well thought-out project that introduces a real change in the lives of young women; A good campaign to foster equal opportunities…”.  Other award winner programme on Kid Inventor’s Day Celebration Filled with Science was designed to contribute childs’ improvement / growing and to strengthen the relations within childs. The programmed remarked with great comments by judges as following “KID Inventor's Day and its associated activities are laudable initiatives aimed at creating culture of innovation; An excellent initiative to support the young generation.; Interesting, well-planned event…”

Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 250 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process from July through early September.
