Makine ve Kimya Endüstrisi (MKE) continues to develop advanced, high‑technology defence solutions aimed at enhancing the operational capabilities of modern armed forces. Building on the experience gained from the production of the 76 mm national naval gun, MKE has taken its vision one step further and reached a critical milestone in the development of the 127 mm national naval gun. As part of the acceptance procedure, the 127 mm/54 caliber national naval gun barrel produced by MKE was integrated into the weapon system installed on the TCG Fatih Frigate and successfully completed its test firings.

Türkiye’s first unmanned fighter aircraft, Bayraktar KIZILELMA, has carried out yet another historic test in the sky. In the test conducted with the participation of two F-16 fighter jets of the Turkish Air Force, KIZILELMA locked onto the target F-16 using the national AESA Radar MURAD, and achieved a direct hit in its simulated fire test with the national air-to-air missile GÖKDOĞAN.

Pakistan Navy Ship TABUK, while operating on Regional Maritime Security Patrol (RMSP) and in support of Saudi-led CTF-150 under HQ Combined Maritime Forces (CMF), intercepted a suspicious dhow operating in the Arabian Sea. Subsequently, the ship successfully conducted a major counter-narcotics operation onboard a stateless dhow, resulting in the seizure of over 2000 Kg of methamphetamine (ICE). The estimated regional wholesale value of apprehended narcotics is 130 million US dollars.

ARES Shipyard will take part in EDEX 2025 – Egypt Defence Expo, one of the most prestigious events in the defense and maritime industries. The exhibition will be held in Cairo between December 1–4, 2025, where ARES will present its new-generation naval platforms developed with in-house engineering and local design capabilities to international stakeholders.
