Deliveries as part of the 35 mm Air Defense System Modernization and Particle Ammunition Project executed by the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) continue. Regarding the ongoing deliveries, SSB President Prof. İsmail DEMİR made the following statement:

“Our activities to strengthen our layered air defense system continue. Within the scope of our 35 mm Air Defense System Modernization and Particle Ammunition Project, we continue to deliver the Fire Control Device and Modernized Towed Gun systems produced by our domestic and national industry to the Turkish Armed Forces with the main contractor Aselsan. The Fire Control Device (FCD) Set offers a low-altitude air defense solution centered on state-of-the-art technology in order to effectively provide air defense of critical facilities and stationary military units. The FCD system has the capacity to undertake the control of up to 3 Modernized Towed Guns simultaneously as well as 1 HİSAR-A Missile Launching System. Such systems, together with 35 mm Airburst Ammunition, perform air defense with high efficiency and effectiveness against current air threats, including air-to-surface missiles, cruise missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. I would like to congratulate all those who contributed to the project and deliveries.”
