Tarih: Issue 23 - November 2010

The delivery becomes a landmark in the modernisation of the country’s air traffic infrastructures and will expand the management capacity of both control centres. Besides this, the stations comply by far with the International Civil Aviation Authorities (IATA) standards.
In order to guarantee top performance of the new systems, Indra undertook the training of the maintenance technicians and operators during the last months. The sessions were held in Turkey and in Spain.
The modernisation works of the Bahçe and Ankara stations are within the framework of a project commissioned by the General Directorate of State Airports Authority of Turkey, DHMI, to Indra in 2009, which includes modernisation of 19 radar stations of the country’s air space surveillance network.
