ATMACA is effective against fixed and moving targets thanks to its three-dimensional advanced mission planning system with its target update, re-attack and mission abort capabilities, and can be used under all weather conditions. Developed to protect Turkey’s interests and rights in the Blue Homeland, ATMACA, with its over 220 km range follows the sea surface from a very close altitude with a high level of sea-skimming capability and cannot be detected by radars of enemy elements. Equipped with a Global Positioning System, Inertial Navigation System, Barometric Altimeter and Radar Altimeter subsystems, ATMACA uses its active radar seeker to find its target with high precision. It has an advanced and modern data link for its target update, re-attack and mission abort capabilities. The system offers the most efficient mission profile offers operation modes of timing, hitting and firing the target. With its prominent structural design, ATMACA was designed using composite material technologies in order to reduce weight and increase structural strength in line with developing technologies.
