Turkey’s Flight Test & Instrumentation Center located in Eski?ehir
Savronik and Tubitak MAM built the first flight test and onboard instrumentation center in Eskisehir, Turkey for 1st Maintenance and Supply Center of the Turkish AirForce within a frame of a contract in 2001.
Flight test is a measurement process taken under flight conditions from air platforms such as aircraft, helicopter, UAV, missile etc. To collect data needed for flight performance checks, system certification and intermittent failure analysis.
Flight test has a broad application in aviation field especially during/after production, upgrading or major modification phases and determining causes of intermittent failures which occur only in flight of the air vehicle or its sub systems. In this procedure parameters are measured in flight and transmitted to ground telemetry stations by using s band under real time conditions.
Flight Test & Instrumentation capabilities of Savronik:
Establishment of telemetry systems and ground stations,
Onboard instrumentation, measurement, and calibration,
Defining of measurement and calibration techniques of parameters,
Defining proper transducer and designing interface requirements,
Designing the entire system & defining required hw/sw
Production/procurement of hw and sw needed,
System integration on platforms,
Designing and implementation support to the customer during ground & flight tests,
Documentation, training the customer and logistic support
