NUSRET-2018 INVITEX Completed

by İbrahim SÜNNETÇİ The NUSRET Exercise is an Invitation Mine Warfare Exercise (INVITEX) that is conducted every year and is hosted by the Turkish Naval Forces. This year’s NUSRET-2018 Exercise was conducted in Izmir Bay between the 15th - 25th of October 2018 with the participation of NATO units, Turkish Naval Forces (TNF), Turkish Air Force (TurAF) and Turkish Coast Guard units as well as 52 Observers and 3 Staff Officers from 11 countries

The aim of the NUSRET-2018 INVITEX was to conduct an exercise that provides training for planning, executing and the assessment phases of maritime mine warfare, and to enhance cooperation & interoperability between the navies of allied and friendly nations.
