Pakistan’s Senior Military Delegation Witnessed the T129 ATAK Demonstration Flight at the Farnborough Air Show

The T129 ATAK helicopter made a demonstration flight for a period of 6 days at the Farnborough İnternational Air Show. On the first day of the show, officials from the Pakistan Delegation, the first export customer of the ATAK helicopter, took part in the demonstration flight, which was held on July 16th. The breathtaking demonstration was followed with great interest by the 2nd Chief of the General Staff of Pakistan and the Director of the Pakistan Armaments. According to the information we obtained, the deliveries to the Pakistan Land Forces will start in the coming period. The first 10 T129 ATAK helicopters to be delivered within this frame will be produced in the T129B phase-1 configuration, the production of which still continue for the Turkish Land Forces, while the other 20 units will be produced in the T129B Phase-2 configuration. The main difference between the Phase-1 and Phase-2 helicopters is related to Electronic Warfare (EW) systems. In addition to existing Phase-I configuration, Phase-II helicopters are equipped with EW systems such as RWR (Radar Warning Receiver), RFJ (Radio Frequency Jammer), LWR (Laser Warning Receiver) as well as 9681 V / UHF Radio (High / Very High Band Radio).
