Second A400M was Delivered to TurAF

The second of 10 aircraft (MSN0013 aircraft with the tail number 14-0013) to be procured as part of the A400M Strategic Transport Aircraft Program, conducted by the Undersecretariat for Defence Industries, landed in the 12th Air Transportation Main Base Command in the Central Anatolian province of Kayseri. This was following its departure from Airbus Military’s facilities in Seville, containing the final assembly line and following the acceptance activities. The aircraft was delivered to the Turkish Air Forces Command (TurAF) as of 22 December 2014. The studies regarding the third aircraft with tail number MSN 23 and MSN 28 tail numbered and the fourth aircraft are continuing at full steam at Airbus Military’s facilities in Seville. Despite the delays in the foreseen schedule, the first two aircraft of the 10 aircraft to be procured by Turkey were delivered in 2014. The remaining 8 aircraft are planned to be delivered between 2015 and 2018, two aircrafts each year.
