The unveiling ceremony was attended by Haluk Görgün, Secrateriat of Defense Industries, Fatih Erdoğan, Chairman of Pasifik Holding, and Muhammed Selman Dönmez, Board Member of Pasifik Technology.
Speaking at the event, Haluk Görgün stated, "Our companies in the defense industry are competing with a spirit of technological mobilization to improve their products, platforms, and processes with all available means to serve our heroic Armed Forces. One of the products we are debuting today, ALPİN-2, has been developed to meet the logistical needs of our Land Forces Command and Special Forces in challenging terrains. It has been refined with feedback from our soldiers in the field and is now ready for delivery. With its hardware and software, particularly the localization of its autopilot software, it has reached its final form. I thank everyone who contributed and supported this effort."
Muhammed Selman Dönmez, Board Member of Pasifik Technology, provided details about the products, particularly ALPİN-2. "We are introducing ALPİN-2, the second version of Turkey’s first cargo-oriented unmanned helicopter, which we have been working on for a long time. Alongside this, we are also presenting the SEYYAH Visual Navigation System, developed for unmanned aerial vehicles, and the PARS VTOL, a vertical take-off and landing UAV designed for reconnaissance and surveillance but also capable of multipurpose use.
As you know, ALPİN was developed to support logistical operations as a cargo platform. Based on field feedback, we significantly increased its localization rate. By integrating our own technologies, particularly in software, electronics, and avionics, we achieved an 80% localization rate in ALPİN-2. We also integrated a winch for cargo transport capabilities. To ensure more stable flight performance, we enhanced the engine power.
Additionally, we integrated our indigenously developed MERKÜT FPV drones into ALPİN-2, with four on the left and four on the right, enabling both self-protection and target destruction in potential scenarios.
Our fully electric PARS VTOL UAV, which is easy to set up and transport, was initially developed for reconnaissance and surveillance purposes. The PARS VTOL can carry a single FPV drone underneath, which can be quickly swapped in the field during operations. This allows for either reconnaissance and surveillance missions or the integration of an extra battery for longer-range flights.
Lastly, our SEYYAH Visual Navigation System enables our UAVs to operate effectively in environments where GPS signals are jammed, allowing them to fly without relying on any GPS signal."
