Since January 17, 2025, Italian Admiral Giuseppe Cavo DRAGONE has been serving as the 34th Chair of the NATO Military Committee (CMC). In his current position, Italian Admiral Giuseppe Cavo DRAGONE is NATO’s senior military officer, the senior military spokesperson for the Alliance on all military matters and military advisor to the Secretary General as well as to the North Atlantic Council. We had the privilege of speaking with him prior to his visit to The Hague for the NATO Summit to be held on June 24-25 at the World Forum in The Hague, Netherlands. This occasion provided a unique opportunity for us to get first-hand information on his job, priorities, contributions and leadership throughout his service.
