The 9th edition of AMAN series of multinational maritime exercises, AMAN 2025 (AMAN-25), which is held every two years, kicks off with a remarkable Flags Hoisting Ceremony at Pakistan Navy Dockyard (PN Dockyard) in Karachi on February 7, 2025. The ceremony was attended by a large number of senior military officials from 60 participating navies (including Pakistan Navy/PN), observers, foreign diplomats and a large number of Pakistan Navy personnel. Commander of the Pakistan Fleet, Rear Admiral Abdul MUNIB graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

Pakistan is set to host AMAN-25; the ninth edition of the multinational AMAN exercise, from February 7 to 11. A key feature of this year’s exercise will be the AMAN Dialogue, where Chiefs of Naval Forces, heads of Coast Guards, and senior leaders from around the world will convene to discuss regional maritime security and devise joint strategies to counter evolving maritime threats.

Pakistan Navy has assumed command of Multinational Combined Task Force 151 (CTF-151) from the Turkish Navy during a Change of Command Ceremony held at HQ US NAVCENT, Bahrain. Commodore Sohail Ahmad Azmie of the Pakistan Navy took over the command from Rear Admiral Rustu Sezer of the Turkish Navy.
